Compliance with standards and accessibility of this website, Galicia Quality ensures that the presentation of all the essential content and functionality of the web are independent of any physical devices and web browsers used for this purpose, encoded with technical standards of free use and free, and accessible to browsers adapted for people with sensory, motor or cognitive limitation or shortages.

The content is in the form of open standard developed and recommended by the W3C, the World Wide Web Consortium.

The elements that constitute its contents (images, text, structures, and links) are written according to priority level AA of the Accessibility Guidelines to the Web Contents W3C.

It is recommended to use the latest versions of browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Netscape Navigator, Opera, Konqueror, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.

The European Union in the resolution of the Council of March 25, 2002, encourages Member States to consider the need for digital content to be accessible and, following this recommendation, Act 34/2002 of June 11 , on services of the information society and electronic commerce, provides that public authorities will take the necessary measures to make available information on their Websites accessible to people with disabilities and of advanced age, according to criteria accessibility generally recognized before December 31, 2005t.

Consistent with this objective, the design of the web of Galicia Quality was made taking into account the accessibility recommendations for the second-level of priority of the WAI guidelines (Web Accessibility Initiative) of the W3C.
