The Bodeguilla de Santa Marta was inaugurated in 2012 in Santiago de Compostela. It has the experience and closeness of its sisters, the Bodeguilla de San Roque and the Bodeguilla de San Lázaro. It is located in the most cozy area of Santa Marta. It is a bustling and comfortable modern restaurant that has a dedicated professional team eager to provide a close and familiar treatment to customers, in a varied and warm atmosphere. We can find Galician products, always prepared with simplicity, care and a touch of modernity. Each season new dishes are introduced on the menu along with traditional dishes. The Bodeguilla de Santa Marta has an immense and cared wine cellar, where you can find more than 300 references of wines from Galicia, Spain and other countries. It is worth highlighting the wines of all Galician designations of origin, with more than 100 references.
The gastronomic offer has a significant proportion of Galician dishes including materials of certified Galician origin (Designations of Origin, Galician Protected Geographical Indications, and Galicia Calidade, Rías Baixas, or other equivalent certifications).
The place where Compostela interspersed to reach the old remains of ‘Castelo da Rocha Forte’, from where the omnipresent archbishop Xelmirez used to keep an eye on the Normand –whom came from Catoira in order to invade the territory with no mercy– “Bodeguilla de Santa Marta” can be found; very close to that meaningful point of the History of Compostela.
