Founded in 1965, its philosophy is based on two fundamental premises: the promotion of international nautical tourism and the organization of regattas. Two very clear objectives that have been consolidated over the years.
Located in the heart of Baiona, the facilities of the Monte Real Club de Yates meet all the conditions of accessibility and comfort for sailors. In them, the navigator has at his disposal all the necessary services for his enjoyment and the care of his boat. It has Wifi service, private security and 24h security, restaurant-bar, fuel, weather information, clean point and waste collection. The draft of the Marina is 6 m and the maximum length is 40 m.
The club has a Sailing School that organizes sailing courses throughout the year aimed at adults and children and adapted sailing courses, for people with functional diversity.
The Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona is at the mouth of the Ría de Vigo, in the bay where ‘La Pinta’ arrived, the first of the Columbus ships that returned to Europe. Centuries later it is a fundamental key of the nautical tourism of Galicia.
